Big Blues and Bathtime Bliss

TGIF!

Now that that is out of the way... it has been a GREAT day! Josie went off to Pam's, as usual. That meant Eric and I got to spend the day with Norah -- which we feel like was a real treat!! It feels like a long time since we really got to play with our own wee-one -- what with vacation and then a week of work/child care (Josie stays up later and therefore we have night-time fun with her that we don't get with Norah). So today I spent a lazy morning with Norah (mostly napping) before we dressed for the sun and heat and headed out to Columbia for errands. This pic is of Norah in Josie's old hat. The resemblance is uncanny. And yes, those eyes are VERY blue.

Once we were dressed and ready, Lucy was quite excited about having the house to herself. She got right down to the business of her day before we made it out the door. Oy Vey!

One of today's errands resulted in a new bathing system for Norah. She is just too big for her infant tub, but still needs help sitting in a big tub. This new contraption got Josie very excited as she quickly put one and one together and came up with the possibility of taking baths with her little sister! And yes, the joint bath happened and they both seemed to have fun. No joint bath pics -- they simply aren't decent. But here is one of Norah:

And of course the "I'm-warm-and-toasty" post-bath shot. Just call her Obi-Norah.

As you can tell... nothing really newsworthy to report -- just fun pics. I preach this weekend, so it has been a more stressful week than usual. Truly -- I wouldn't mind delivering sermons every week -- as long as someone else did the writing of them. Eck. Oh well. God calls us to many tasks... some we are already good at and others God uses to build us up in the doing of them. I can accept that.

Tis hot here... like triple digits hot. Hope that wherever you are, your air conditioning is treating you well!!
