What's New Pussycat

We had a real treat of some gorgeous weather earlier this week. It afforded us the opportunity to clean off the grill and enjoy daylight savings time with a mini-cook-out. Eric and I initiated the upcoming spring season with brats, but the girls had hot dogs. This was Norah's first bout with them and overall, she loved what was given her. That said, a full hot dog is just too much for this gal and she left a lot behind. Lucy-the-cat was very eager to see if she could help out!

On the warm day, Josie also took advantage of the warm weather by playing on her swing-set and riding her scooter and big wheel. Josie is very safety conscious -- and even though the big wheel rides low to the ground, she wanted to be sure to be safe and wear a helmet. The catch: Josie doesn't have a helmet that fits. So, she decided to wear Eric's. She rode the big wheel so hard, one of the back wheels popped off! Who knows, maybe that will be the push she needs to want a bicycle!

And finally, at the end of the day, Josie enjoyed one of her favorite past-times -- playing on the computer. Norah enjoys watching what her big sister is up to!

It was a great day for everyone! Here's hoping that more of those days aren't too far away! Some more spring days would be much appreciated!
