This weekend was a long one for Josie -- a 3 day weekend for parent-teacher conferences. Josie's conference went wonderfully... YAY! Following conferences, we took advantage of the break and headed out to St. Louis to visit Sarah, Jeremy, and Mitchell. It was a fun trip -- complete with a trip to the zoo. Josie LOVES the penguins and I think the sea lions and the butterfly house come in as close seconds.

As soon as we got home from St. Louis, it was a fast turn around to get Josie to a Birthday/Halloween party for two of her friends from school and Eric's church. It was an outdoor party complete with a hayride and bonfire. Great fun!!

Today, Sunday, was the annual Trunk-or-Treating event at my church. This is a highlight for both the church as well our family. Norah donned her costume of a bumble bee tonight while Josie kept up with her ladybug image. Both girls were adored by many -- much to Josie's pleasure. :)

Now, it is the end of a very long Sunday and a fast-paced weekend. Eric is off at Sunday night meetings, the girls are chillin', my dogs are barking, but all of us feel as though we had a wonderful fall weekend.
(yes, I really wrote this on SUNDAY, but blogger and I were having issue with pictures. Sorry for the delay!)
