Memorial Day weekend... a weekend for remembering, for resting, and apparently, from hiding from the rain. All weekend it rained -- that is, all weekend except Memorial Day itself. So, we took great advantage of the day. We drove into town for the big Memorial Day parade -- complete with lots of air show festivities -- the parachuters being the highlight. Josie LOVES a good parade. Norah... well, her first parade didn't seem to phase her too much... she just seemed to enjoy being in the fresh air.
After the parade, we came home and had lots of outdoor fun -- Josie in her sandbox and Norah in her new swing. 
Josie was very excited about sharing her swing set with her little sister. She spent some time swinging side by side her sister, and also took time out to give her sister some pushes. Norah, well she thoroughly enjoyed the swing. She basked in the sun and breeze, and quickly fell right to sleep. Fresh air will do it every time!
Tomorrow: Josie starts Kindergarten summer school. Wow.
