Five Weeks. Five weeks ago, our life changed from what we thought was normal -- life with one imaginative five-year-old to now life with that same five-year-old and a newborn. Now, five weeks later, we are finally beginning to experience what "normal" might look like for us -- at least until I go back to work in May. That is to say, we have had all our families in at different times and now everyone has gone home and a daily routine is being established and lived into. Five weeks. Time has both blown by so quickly and crept by ever so slowly.
So since our falling silent in the blogosphere, my parents have come and gone. Mom came out March 13 and was then joined by Dad on March 20. It was WONDERFUL to have them here and truth be told, I think they enjoyed getting away from some of that Florida sunshine to experience the "greening" that comes with a Missouri spring. Eric was kind enough to snap a few West Family photos...
And here is one of Josie with "her girls" -- Norah and Sally (the doll). She loves being the big sister AND the mommy.
