What a WONDERFUL July Fourth holiday! After letting the house sleep in a bit, and having a yummy french toast breakfast, we packed up the girls for a surprise outing: Warm Springs Ranch -- the breeding facility for the Budweiser Clydesdale horses. What a joy it was to see so many of these beautiful creatures - and so many young ones too! The girls had a great time seeing the horses and Josie especially loved learning all about the care of the horses and the facility.
After visiting the horses, we had lunch and then enjoyed another surprise stop: the local pool! After lots of splashing, laughter, and bright sunshine, we took the fair-skinned beauties home for a quiet afternoon. The evening was, of course, made complete with the local fireworks display.
Josie summed it up best, "We did so much fun stuff today, but the best part was doing it all as a family!" Awww....
