MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Christmas at the Moore Manse was fairly quiet... just the four of us and the cat. Not a great deal of fan fare as we were leaving for Florida the next day. All that said, we had a very relaxing morning where we gathered around the tree, watched Norah explore her stocking, and watched Josie rip through the gifts. Now, being mindful of who we are, our beliefs, and even our practices, we work hard to remind Josie that Christmas is not about the gifts. We remind her of the Christmas story and the importance of it. We remind her of the importance of time spent with family. And we remind her not to be too greedy. Somewhere in the midst of that, Josie begins her Christmas list. Oh my. Santa had his work cut out for him this year! Thankfully, Santa came through for both girls. Josie got a camera and a scooter while Norah got a "walker" and some sippy cups. Josie used her camera all morning on Christmas, capturing the random... and I mean random... moments of the day. Really, many of her pictures weren't bad for a five-year-old. That said... we will be keeping those pictures to ourselves... ya'll don't need to see us in our morning glory!
Here are some various pictures of Christmas morning. Enjoy!
OH... the crazy occurrence of the day? Eric and I exchanged identical gifts with each other -- the Bourne trilogy. I guess great minds think alike!
Hope you all had a blessed Christmas!
