Yeah... no family resemblance here! Mercy!Hope you had a great July 4! We at the Moore Estate took it easy most the day. We did make an appearance at our local fireworks display. Quite a shoot out for such a little town as this! This was Josie's first year to not be deathly afraid of fireworks. She did cover her ears the whole time... and melted into her daddy's lap.... but overall, she loved them. Little one and I struggled a little, but in the end, it was a very impressive evening.
On a different note... this seems to be the summer of the swingset. Papa (Eric's dad) built Josie a swingset a couple years back. This summer seems to be the year that she can't get enough of it. We also added a sandbox to it this year, which seems to add to the fun and imagination of this 5-year-old girl. As recent as 4 months ago, our red-head was terrified of a great many things. It appears that one of the benefits of summer school has been that she has grown a lot more adventurous and brave. She never would have tried to climb up a slide 4 months ago. Now it is her favorite thing to do! You go, girl!
